Hey,

I figured so, but where exactly. I would like to edit pictures say if the file size is too big and what not.

Unfortunately, you cannot do it. You may only edit a listing from the Admin panel, save a picture on your PC locally, edit it, and then upload it to a listing and save it again.

I successfully edited images stored in the database by using phpMyAdmin. The table's name the images are stored in is a number (in my case 144). When you edit a row you will see a form and that form has two browse buttons (one for main image, one for thumbnail). Simply download your large image from your web site, use an image editor to do whatever you want to do then upload the new main image and thumbnail via the phpMyAdmin interface. Done deal. Worked for me.

Personally I wished that images wouldn't be stored inside the database. It may work for small sites with little traffic but for larger sites that do not have a dedicated database server it slows things down for me.

Anyway, give it a try.
