First of all you will have to add a new Search Form. For this purpose, click the ‘Search forms’ link in the left menu in the ‘Listing Configuration’ section, input Keywords in the field ‘Form Name’ in the dialog box ‘Add a New Form’, and submit it. After that, the new Search form will appear on the ‘Search Forms’ page. To adjust the properties of the newly created form, click 'Edit' next to the name of the form. The ‘Search Form’ modification page will be opened.

You will have to create a new group which named ‘Keywords’ in the newly created search form. To add the new group, enter the name of the group to the "Add a New Group Name" dialog box on the search form modification page, and click the 'Add' button. After that, the new group which named ‘Keywords’ will appear at the bottom of the page.

Then you will have to set the following parameters on this page:

  • Form name - yon can enter a new name for the search form here.
  • URL - the relative address of the form on the website (e.g. homes/).
  • Menu location - location of the link to search form in the user menu of your site (e.g. Search/Homes).
  • Linked display form - display form to display search results.
  • Full display form - this parameter is needed only for short forms. It points to the full search form that can be used for advanced search.
  • Default sorting field – in the drop-down list choose a parameter which will be shown in the field ‘Sort By’ by default.
  • Logged-In User Form - this flag means that this form will be shown only to authorized users on the site.
  • Show search results - this flag means that search results will be displayed as soon as the page with this form is opened.

After it, you can make a search by keywords in the admin panel (Listing Data Management/ Search & Edit Listings) or on your site like a user, just input necessary parameters for your search.

P.S. If you have added listings before you created the search form ‘Keywords’, you will have to save these listings again with added modifications.
