Hello

I have tried using the following code in my .htaccess

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteRule ^(.*)/(.*)/$ http://www.irishmotor.com/dbsearch/?id=$1&form_display=$2 [L]

But it does not seem to work. Is there any way to make this work?

Thank you

Hello

I would like to make my web site seo friendly. by chaging the urls while searching on the website.
e.g changing www.site.com/dbsearch?id=34&form_display=23 to www.site.com/carsearch/34/23

I was trying to used the .htacces file to do this using this code:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteRule ^(.*)/(.*)/$ http://www.site.com/dbsearch/?id=$1&form_display=$2 [L]

I was wondering if this can be done.

Thank you

David,

In fact, we may do so, but it will take a lot of efforts and much time.

Your way to reach this will work for this case only, but other functionality that uses old URLs will not work with new ones.
