Hey all,

Ive being searching for a suitable php/sql script that could be used for an idea i have for a website.

Im impressed by iauto but i have a few questions.

1) I plan on having a site that will enable users to buy/sell motor parts and not cars, is it possible for me to customize the script to allow me to change the search functions

ie. in search, remove car colour, doors, engine, tranmission etc...

2) Can i except payment through iauto from pre approved traders who want to advertise on my site or would i have to use a third party script ?

Regards,
John.

The answer to #1 is yes.  You can change the structure any way you wish.

iAuto supports paypal or credit card payments via authorize.net and the scripts are included for these.
Once you set up a merchant account, you can take payments for products and bounty fees from advertisers.
I hope this helps,
Lou
