I,

How do you fine tune the forum feature; any administration feature, or file, besides the admin section. The location of forum's system files would be usefull too cause I need to translate them in french.

As for Polls well I don't really get it.  Maybe my installation is flawed but I get no result page and the vote box dissappeared from main once I voted once.  Anything you got would be usefull.

Good day all

You can have many questions active in on-line polls. They will rotate.

As the user votes, the software sets a cookie that indicates which of the poll questions the user had voted for. The software then displays only those questions that were not answered by the user. If there are no such questions, then it just displays nothing.

There is no "view poll results" functionality in the user area. Only administrator can view poll results now.

Hi YvesDL,
Welcome to iRealty forum.
To answer your question about forum customization, you can look at system\modules\forum\user\functions\forum.php script in you iRealty package. All forum messages should be there.

YvesDL,

What would you like to see in the poll block? What poll features do you need?

What are your suggestions as far as its look and feel?

Well I was thinking it would be interesting to post polls with results users could see.  But I understand that they're not made like that. That's ok.  I'm still learning the solution.

Yves,

That's the kind of feedback we're looking for. Initially, this feature was supposed to be visible to the admin only, but we do understand that it'd be cool for the voters to see the results as well.

Based on what you and others need, we can change the functionality to perform as expected by many users, but we need your feedback to understand exactly what the majority needs.

Sincerely,

iAuto Sales
