Hello everyone and happy holidays!

After long discussions with our developed team we've finally arranged the plan of the next release of iAuto and iRealy. The main feature that would be added is "Multilanguage support" that allows to easily translate your site to other language and run it in more that one language.

In this topic I would like to discuss this issue with everyone how has an experience in running multilanguage sites.
How would you like this functionality work? Are there any particular features you would like to see in Multilanguage support?
You can also leave examples of Multilanguage translation interface that you liked in other scripts.

I purchased the script recently and am in the process of translating it to Turkish. The process so far has been smooth even though it took some effort understand the URI, template, etc. relationships.
My site is www.satilikarsa.com and as you can see, it's partially converted. The one issue I had so far is that I could not find where I needed to update the values that correspond to values in table user_profile_field_list.
For search and listings, the I was able to plug in the Turkish cities via the front end in Listing Fields. However, I can not find it for the values in user_profile_field_list. That is why when I try to register a test user, I only see the US States under available regions.
I am sure I can make the updates on the table itself however I do not wish to do that. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello
As far as I understand you have a problem with changing state list for users.
To modify states in user profile go to your admin panel -> User Groups -> Edit user group you need to modify -> Edit User Profile Fields -> Edit State Filed -> Edit List Values.

Hope this helps

Rodion,
Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for. I also got a copy of the front end customization guide and will refer to that, too.

i think that vbulletin has a very nice way of translating to other languages. it has a phrase manager plus you can save/import different languages by using a single xml file. If something like this could be created, i think it would be a very good feature for both iauto and irealty.

I believe it will be ready in the middle of the March. But this is only preliminary estimate.
