We recently changed our hosting plan and need to move our current iAuto installation over to the new server.

Can we just backup the current database and import it on the new server then just ftp over all the files or should we do a clean install?

We've made quite a few changes to the code so we need to make sure those come over. I just want to make sure the transfer goes over smoothly.

Thanks,
Ben

Ben,

You need to do the following:

1. Create an archive of your script.
2. Move your archive to your new hosting and unpack it.
3. Create a dump of your DB.
4. Create new DB at your new hosting and unpack the dump of your old DB there.
5. Change the URL and DB properties in the LocalSettings.php files.
