 Huh

Hi All,

The features list for iRealty includes a section called 'Notifications and Alerts'.  Under this heading there is a 'Customer Alert' feature which allows you to ask the script for email notifications when a new porerty is added that matches your saved search criterion.

I have read the documentation and had a play but I can not find how this works and how you set it up.

Has anyone managed to get this working? If so please can you give me a few pointers.

Cheers Jen

Hi All - I got this response from teh iRealty sales team and I thought it would be useful for others.

There is a Customer Alert feature built into the iRealty package. To use it, you need to first register yourself, then sign in. Once you've signed in, you can create a so called Saved Search. A saved search is a set of parameters you need to have the system send you alerts on. For that, go to Advanced Search, select the params, click Search. When results are displayed, on top you'll see a link Save Search with an icon. Do so by clicking it and entering a name that would distinguish it from others, like Homes in Nevada. Then, close the window and go to the Saved Searches link in the left menu. Click on it to get a list of all saved searches. Click "Enable Auto Notify" next to your saved search to let the system send emails when a new listing is added. On the Admin side, in the System settings menu, make sure all relevant checkboxes pertaining to notifications are checked.
