invite friend functionality

Hello I am planning to launch a very unique classified listing service. The disimination of this service will be primarily via word of mouth, at least intially. A function that will greatly help this objective will be an invite friends element to the registration process, where new registrants are invited to invite their friends... either by simply entering their friends email addresses into a a text box, or by entering their own email address and password in to a text box so ilister can then retrieve all their friends email addresses from their address book to invite them. Facebook, amongst other websites have a function like this. Is this possible on ilister???

This will be a huge bonus for your clients as it will help them effortless promote their sites, this in turn will be great for you guys.
