Hi Ya'll,

I installed the latest version of iAuto at www.TexasAutoGuide.net, but it seems that I may have a problem and hope someone out there can point me in the right direction.

1) When I login to ADMIN at http://www.Texasautoguide.net/admin one of two things happens. I either get a 403 error (The website declined to show this webpage) OR it will show me the login screen. When it does show me the login screen and I put in my user name and password corretly and hit enter I get a 403 error (The website declined to show this webpage), but this time a check f the URL shows it has changed to http://texasautoguide.net. If I edit this and add the WWW it will let me in. Something ain't right with that.

2) I can switch between themes in the Admin section but it make no difference in the web page being shown. I've even added Tempalte 3 hoping that it would help but no matter which theme I set as current onlt the "iauto" theme shows on the web pages.

I sent my server people the requirements to run iAuto and they have verified that all the libraries and such are properly installed. I've even got ahead and deleted the entire domain off my server, recreated it and reinstalled iAuto 4.3.0 with the same problems.

Anyone out there have a simular problem and if so how did they correct it?

FYI to board users:

iAuto support has corrected problem 1 for me already. I've always found support to be very good and responsive for this product.

I thought you all might want to know the answers to my problems.

Problem 1: The reason is that the license for the product is tied to a particular URL. URLs http://www.texasautoguide.net and http://texasautoguide.net are considered as different. We have configured a redirect from http://texasautoguide.net to http://www.texasautoguide.net and should work fine now.

Problem 2: You can change a theme via the Admin panel -> Language Management -> Manage Languages -> Click "Edit" in front of English -> Select a theme then click the Edit button. In the multilingual version of iAuto the themes are tied to the language.

Note: You will need to close and reopen the browser in order the changes take effect.

I hope this will be of use to someone else too. Smiley
