Still trying to completely understand relationship between these entities and our business processes.  Have read manual explanation and knowledge base, etc.

We've defined a user group with a subscription MP allowing for 1,000 listings.

We've defined a new user group with a subscription MP allowing for 2,500 listings.

Can't figure out how to provide an upgrade path for current MP 1,000 to MP 2,500.

We expired a MP 1,000 account and they still only see the MP 1,000 plan at payment page?  also, in this scenario, package definitions don't apply as these MPs only differ by amount of listings allowed, correct.?

Appreciate your help.

A user has only two ways to change his/her MP:
1. wait until his current MP is expired
2. contact administrator and ask to expire his plan manually:

This should not happen. Please check if you add a MP allowing for 2,500 listings to the User Group, which subscription you have expired.

I do not quite understand your question. Different MPs have different Listing Packages. If a user changes an MP, he will have its packages for new listings. Old listings will always have the settings of the packages from an old MP.
