Hi...

Anybody knows the best way to import language? I have done it from Language Management --> Import Language but the result was "LANGUAGE_FILE_IS_INVALID".

Please kindly advise me regarding this problem.

Thanks in advance.

This path Language Management --> Import Language is correct. Something is wrong with the language file.

What is its extension? Where did you get the file?

Also you can check the permissions for the /languages folder, they should be 777.

The file extension is xml. I downloaded this from en.xml and I translated with text editor according to my preferred language. When I uploaded again. It failed although I have cmod 777 the language folder as you told me.

I know there is an online translation feature the control panel but I prefer offline as there are so many phrases to translate and I want to make it faster.

Thanks.

This way of translation will not work for language files. In case you need to create a new language file and make necessary translation, you need to go to ADmin Panel -> Manage Languages -> Add a Language.
Then, when a language appeared under Manage Languages section, you need to click "Translate Phrases" and add all translations there.

What language do you need?
