Featured Problems

Hello.
I would be very thankfull if someone could help me here.

A good car classifieds website got to have free listings to get more clients and also paid listings, but i can configure it well, the thing is, i create a membership that is free and then under that free membership theres 4 kind of listings that i want:
free listing for 90 days
featured listing for 7days
featured listing for 15days
featured listing for 30days

But then comes the problem, free listing is free so i dont want the (upgrade for featured) to be avaiable in this kind of listing but its impossible to define, becouse if i configure the featured price to 0 the client can upgrade for free.

Theres also a another big problem with the featured upgrade, when someone get is listing upgraded, after the featured time the listing gets unactivated.

It would be much easy for the client if the admin could set a base price for each featured day and the client would need only to select the amount of days that he wants to upgrade and after that days he's list continues to be active but not featured.

Hello Dacons.

If you don't want free users to upgrade to featured you can uncheck Is Featured and delete Price for Upgrade to Featured in edit package area.

What about this request

It is custom modification - and if you want to order it - you can contact our Customization manager.

thanks arthur but if i uncheck "is featured" and put zero on price for feature the client still can ugrade for featured for 0$

you don't need to set price as 0$ - you need just to leave it empty

if i leave it empty, the upgrade button is visible at user listings and if they select it they got upgrade for free!
did you test it?

oh yes - I can see it. I will report about it to our Developers team. And now you can set price for featured. So if non featured member will want to feature his listing - he will need to pay.

and this bug comes twice, at the clients listings and after the client create a new listings at listing menu where shows 3 links, (preview listing, edit listing and upgrade)
and the systen should know that the package for this listing is non featured, and again at this listing menu if client selects upgrade he got the upgrade for free
