Hi,

How can I find the IP address of guests sending messages to all ad owners with the same garbage - obviously scammers sending the same "Is that item still for sale at $ ?? If so I'll pay what you want for it"

I have the email address but not the IP. There isnt really a way to stop guests by banning their email only IP. Is there  a way to find out their IP so I can ban it?

Ok,

wasn't that difficult to find after all - I'm using twatch and had a look at the site traffic around the time the emails were sent - the ip turned out to be very active in all the listings around that time and after a quick search at Trusted Source, found the culprit was from Nigeria .... never would have guessed!!  IP's banned .....

Is there a way I can include the senders IP address automatically when an email is sent from the site? I know the site ip is, but not guest/senders ip.

This way clients could validate the authenticity of an email before they respond to it. At least they'd know roundabouts where the email originated. Maybe the location of the IP in the email too?

Any ideas on this fellas?

Hello Geoffrey,
Unfortunately you can't make it because this feature neither a part of the default product functionality nor can it be resolved as part of support service. Consequently, we can offer this feature to be implemented as part of customization service which is provided for additional cost.

If this is something you would like to proceed with, please contact our Customization Dept at custom@worksforweb.com.

Thank you!
