All of a sudden, when attempting to change a field in any of our search forms (maybe all forms, haven't checked), we get a browser error, page can't be loaded or maybe you're not connected, in IE, and a blank page in Firefox.

For example, I change a field in a form to checkbox from std, and when I click save, nothing, and when I return, it's not been saved.

I get a link of
http://www.mydomain.com/admin/request_forms/?formid=38&groupid=118&recordid=1457
and in the error logs...
[Mon Feb 26 14:48:29 2007] [notice] child pid 20034 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

if that helps.

More info...

It's only advanced search forms at this point. What I've done is create a brand new one. ok. Then I add the first group, fields, and modify them to be check boxes or whatever. ok.

Then I create the second group. ok. add a field or two and change format. ok. when i go to add another field, i get the blank screen (in mozilla). from then on, i can delete the group and readd it, but when i try to add any field i get the blank screen, which i also get if i try to display the form. in the case of the other two pre-existing forms, they will display, but i get the blank screen if i try to edit fields on them.

My client is becoming apoplectic, this was a few minor mods needed to go live today... can someone help?

Dear baalwww,

I tried to repeat your error with the advanced search form field change, and I managed to do this without any problem. The script saves all the changes I make.

I also repeated all the steps you described to create a new search form, and it all went well. You may find my "test" search form on your website in the admin back end at http://www.yoursite.co.uk/admin/request_forms/?formid=79, and on your front-end at http://www.yoursite.co.uk/test/.

I forwarded your issue to our Development department, they may have an idea what had caused the problems you experienced. As soon as I have some feedback from them, I will let you know.
